Journaling has been part of my life since I was a young girl. It gave me a safe space to express myself, organise my thoughts, and clear my mind. Over time, it became a powerful tool for self-reflection and emotional release.
When I later studied positive psychology, I learned how to adapt my journaling practice with a more intentional, positive focus. This balance- gently releasing what no longer serves while nurturing what uplifts- is now at the heart of the journaling sessions I offer.
Journaling is the practice of writing down your thoughts, feelings, experiences, and reflections. It can take many forms- from free writing to structured prompts or creative expression. No writing experience is needed- just a willingness to pause, reflect, and be honest with yourself.
Rooted in years of personal practice and grounded in positive psychology, my guided sessions combine thoughtful prompts with mindfulness techniques to help you feel more grounded, present, and connected to yourself.
Mindfulness offers the opportunity to notice what’s happening in the mind, allowing you to become the observer rather than getting caught up in thoughts. This practice supports tuning into the present moment, developing self-awareness, calm, and relaxation.
In my sessions, I incorporate breathing techniques to help bring a sense of calm to both body and mind, increase awareness of where stress or tension is held, and foster a kind, supportive relationship with yourself. It’s about learning simple ways to support your wellbeing every day.
