My Story

Like many, I was caught up in the hustle of life, pushing myself to the limit. It wasn’t until I experienced burnout that I truly realised the importance of self-care. My stress showed up as anxiety, headaches, and hair loss- a wake-up call that encouraged me to slow down and listen more closely to my body.

That’s when I began exploring tools that could support my wellbeing. Yoga, breathwork, journaling, and Reiki helped me reset my nervous system, release stress, and reconnect with myself.

To deepen my understanding, I trained in yoga, breathwork, positive psychology, and Reiki energy healing- evidence-informed practices that support emotional and nervous system health. Combining personal experience with practical tools, I now share what has supported both myself and others in navigating stress and feeling more steady and grounded.

I Am Me Wellness was born from this journey. What started as an Instagram page @i_am_me_wellness has grown into a wellness business supporting people to slow down, reconnect, and feel more supported. It is a calm, welcoming space where people can step away from the busyness of life and the constant sense of being “on,” and instead pause, reconnect, and reset.

Whether someone is feeling stretched, overwhelmed, or simply in need of stillness, these sessions offer simple practices and shared moments- often with a cup of tea- as a gentle reminder to slow down and care for yourself. A space to come back to yourself, to breathe, and to fill your cup again.

As a yoga teacher, breathwork instructor, positive psychology practitioner, and Reiki Master, my mission is to support your wellbeing and help you discover what works for you- whether that’s through movement, stillness, breath, or rest.

I’m here to offer a space for stillness, calm, and connection- supporting individuals, teams, and communities through simple wellbeing practices that help people feel more centred in everyday life.

The Meaning Behind I Am Me?

I Am” are two of the most powerful words- because what you place after them shapes how you see yourself and how you move through the world.

I Am Me is a reminder that you are enough. That you are whole. That you can live a life aligned with what matters most to you. It invites you to come home to yourself- to live with intention, purpose, and self-trust.

It’s also a quiet nod to my own story- “Emma” in reverse- reflecting the personal journey that brought me here.

Every wellness tool I now share first supported me. After experiencing their impact firsthand, I became a yoga teacher, breathwork instructor, Reiki Master, and positive psychology practitioner- so I could offer that same sense of calm, clarity, and connection to others.

I Am Me Wellness offers a pause — a space to reset, reconnect, and gently return to your centre.

These practices help you tune into your body, listen inward, and rebuild trust in your own knowing- because the answers aren’t out there. They’re already within you. You just need the space to hear them.

The I Am Me Sunflower

The I Am Me Sunflower

The sunflower in the I Am Me Wellness logo holds deep meaning. You’ll notice only some of the petals are yellow- a reflection of how, at times, we can lose touch with ourselves.

But just like sunflowers turn to face the sun, we can choose to move toward what lights us up.

The yellow petals symbolise moments of joy, connection, and self-care- the things that bring colour and meaning back into our lives. Each petal represents a wellness tool: a practice that supports you not just to feel well, but to flourish.

It’s a gentle reminder that even in difficult seasons, you can keep turning toward what helps you grow.
